Vogue: Celeb pals helped me get through a tough week

Vogue WilliamsBy Sunday World

This has been a really tough week for Brian and I.

For those who may not know, on Tuesday I announced: “It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.”

But the support we’ve been getting from people online has been amazing.

Seeing everyone’s kind words has really made a difference in this hard time.

We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too.

I don’t want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others lives.

On Thursday I went to the ITV summer party and had a really good night. It’s nice to catch up with people you don’t see very often.

I went with Tom Rosenthal, who I did Mission Survive with, and he’s as hilarious as ever.

I keep in touch with a lot of the cast from Mission Survive and they’ve become good friends.

I love going to ITV events because you always get to meet people you love.

I saw Jeremy Kyle at the last one and I got to meet David Walliams on Thursday night.

Amanda Holden (above) and Alesha Dixon were there and they’re honestly two of the most gorgeous women I’ve ever seen.

I wore a pink dress from one of my favourite Aussie labels Maurie and Eve with a River Island clutch and a pair of Jessica Buurman heels.

My best Friend Ashley O’ Rourke did my make-up. I always use her when I’m in Ireland and if you’re looking for a make-up artist Ashley’s the best.

I came back to Dublin on Saturday to film my RTE series Wild Girls. I was at a fight night, which I actually thought I would hate, but since I started filming this show I’ve actually really enjoyed the atmosphere of the fights.

I did a lot of filming with a gorgeous girl called Felix who is an amazing Muay Thai fighter and I was there to watch her fight.

I really enjoyed all the training, but I think I would be a little scared to go into the ring.

I definitely want to keep up Muay Thai, though, as I love mixing up my exercise routine.

Today I’ll be down at the Dundalk Races judging the most stylish lady and I can’t wait to see what everyone’s wearing.

I love going to the races for the atmosphere and it’s always fun to have a reason to dress up. I think Irish women have a great sense of style, so it’s always tough judging at these things.

If you are down there come and enter; the prizes are always good.
