A perfect 'Ten with Nathan on album

He’s had an amazing few years on the Irish scene, but Nathan Carter is not resting on his laurels.

In fact, Nathan hasn’t been resting at all – having just returned from Nashville, Tennessee.

He’s been to the home of country music to record a bunch of new songs that fans can look forward to, as they’re due to be released over the coming months.

By all accounts, they’re some of the popular country star’s best work.

Nathan was backed in the Nashville studio by country music’s top musicians, including Tim McGraw’s guitarist, Brad Paisley’s bassist and Faith Hill’s drummer.

We’re all excited to hear the songs, which will feature on Nathan’s next album due out this year.

Nathan signed a major record deal with Decca in the U.K. last year, so there are exciting times ahead on that front.

But the entertainer, who has enjoyed hits with Wagon Wheel, Caledonia and Drift Away, has no intention of deserting his Irish fans as success beckons abroad.

In fact, Nathan has a big weekend coming up at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, next month. He’ll be performing and meeting fans when he takes up a residency in the top venue from May 8-10.

Nathan will perform in concert at the Royal Theatre on May 8, with a full show that includes guests Louise Morrissey, Brendan Quinn, plus late night bar entertainment with Matt Leavy.

Saturday, May 9, has four hours of dancing with Nathan, plus Gerry Guthrie and Stuart Moyles.

And on the Sunday, fans can look forward to afternoon dancing with Nathan and his band.
