The Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz camps have agreed to a rematch, but the date has not been revealed as yet.

The Belfast boxer beat Santa Cruz at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, this summer in a thrilling bout which saw Frampton, who'd stepped up a weight to take on Santa Cruz, fly out of the USA after the fight with the WBA world featherweight belt over his shoulder.

After the fight Frampton praised the Mexican boxer, saying: I’d love to give Leo a re-match because he gave me my chance.

"I’d love to have it in Belfast and show the public how great a warrior he is."

However it looks like Las Vegas is in the running to host what is sure to be the Tigers Bay man's most high profile fight yet.

The ferocious battle between the pair on July 30 saw two judges score the fight in favour of Frampton while one scored it a draw.

Frampton became the first Northern Irishman to win world titles at two different weights.
