Car set on fire in South Belfast was 'hate crime'

The police have said that a car that was set alight on Ebor Street in South Belfast in the early hours of Tuesday morning was a racially motivated hate crime.

The car was attacked at around 2am this morning and the blaze was extinguished after the fire service arrived. 

The vehicle was ruined as a result.

The police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information to contact the police on their non-emergency number, 101.
