Brian Dowling weds his Ammenian fiance in Ireland - world exclusive first picture
HERE’S the first picture of Brian Dowling on the wedding day.
The Big Brother winner today got hitched to his Armenian choreographer finance Arthur Gourounlia.
The couple have been together for three years and tied the knot in front of family and friends at Powerscourt, Co Wicklow.
Among those wishing them well were Louis Walsh, Vernon Kay, Tess Daly, Brian Ormond and his wife Pippa O’Connor, and TV3’s Alan Hughes and his husband Karl Broderick.
Brian’s fellow Big Brother star Narinder Kaur acted as the presenter's ‘bridesmaid’.
The pair took part in the second series of Big Brother back in 2001 – which Brian won - and immediately became inseparable.
They were mostly seen gossiping about their fellow housemates - including Amma Antwi-Agyei and Dean O'Loughlin - and even developed nicknames and facial expressions to describe the poor unsuspecting contestants.
Brian's best man was his PR Simon Jones.
Brian (37) also had a large number of family and friends from his hometown of Rathangan, Co Kildare present.
He also recently revealed that the couple legally got married in London earlier this Summer, in case Ireland’s same sex legislation was not passed.
“We did it in London as we didn't know how the law would go in Ireland,” he revealed. “We wanted to make sure we got it right.
"All my friends and family are coming.
Our suits are by Tom Ford they are tight fitted. Especially at the back."Dowling shared an image of Kaur having her nails done in preparation for the big day, and added the caption: "Michelle and Victoria from @michelebnails hard at work on 2 of my bridesmaids @narinder22 is in heaven #fun #wedding #nails #glamour"
He also shared another snap of himself cosying up with three other bridesmaids and added the caption: "Sssshhhh! I'm getting married in the morning.#wedding #fun #groom #bridesmaids #love #family"
Brian was replaced as presenter of Big Brother by Emma Willis in 2013 after hosting the revived series on Channel 5 from 2011. He currently presents TV3 game show Sitting on a Fortune and has taken part in panto at Dublin’s Tivoli theatre.
