The bomb disposal team has been called in to deal with a 'device' found on railway tracks in Dublin this afternoon.

Gardai confirmed they received the call just before 12pm that the potentially dangerous object had been located near Kilbarrack.
 
A spokesperson confirmed that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) is en route to the scene, which has now been sealed off.
Rail services have been suspended "until further notice" on the northbound line between Raheny and Howth/Malahide, Iarnrod Eireann said. 
 
An Irish Rail spokesperson said the incident is ongoing and bus services will be provided for commuters. They advised people to check the website before travelling today. 
 
Dublin Bus are understood to be accepting all rail tickets in affected areas.
