Gardai have found the body of a missing Dublin woman, they have confirmed.

Gardai earlier today appealed to the public for their assistance tracing Pamela Kenny (52). 

The 52-year-old woman was missing from her home at Delwood, Castleknock, Dublin 15 since 10.30am on Monday morning.

She was described as as being 4’ 11” in height, of slim build with long brown hair, who walked with a noticeable limp. 

Gardaí said they were concerned for Pamela’s welfare and anyone with information was asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station

Officers thanked the public for their help in a statement: "Missing person Pamela Kenny has been located, she is deceased.

"Thank you for your assistance."
