Body discovered in Dublin Bay

The body of a man was spotted floating in Dublin Bay by a passing Ferry yesterday.

The coastguard was alerted and the body was recovered at approximately 5:30pm yesterday.

The Dublin and Dún Laoghaire coast guards and Dún Laoghaire life boat were involved in the operation.

Gardai in Dún Laoghaire are investigating the discovery.

Reports that the man was the subject of a recent missing person alert have not been confirmed by the Garda Press Office.
