Bank of Ireland resolve issue involving visa debit cards
Some Bank of Ireland customers are furious this afternoon as their debit cards are not working in ATMs or in Visa/Debit machines.
Bank of Ireland say issue has been resolved

A whole host of customers have been contacting the bank on social media to report that transactions are not going through.

The bank's customer service Twitter account has been replying to frustrated customers

And the bank have now confirmed they are looking into the issue

The Bank's press office has released the following statement to the Sunday World: 'We are aware some customers are experiencing technical difficulties using their visa debit cards. Please be assured we’re looking into it, and apologise for the inconvenience'.
