Attacks on Orange lodges being treated as hate crime

The police are investigating attacks on two Orange Halls which happened overnight in County Down.

 Tanvally Orange Hall on the Glebe Road in Annaclone and Corbet Orange Hall on the Drone Hill Road in Corbet were attacked with paint.

 'CIRA' was was also scrawled on the wall of a building.  

Chief Inspector Davy Beck said: "We are investigating both incidents as sectarian hate crimes and we would like to hear from anyone with information. Please call 101, quoting reference 178 01/07/16."
