A man has been arrested after a stabbing spree in Dublin which left three people in hospital.

The knife attack occurred in west Dublin last night just after 8pm.

Gardai say the three people – one man and two women – were stabbed at Bramblefield Park in Clonee.

The male victim is thought to be in his 40s and the two women in their 20s and 30s. All three are currently being treated in hospital for their wounds.

Gardai are detaining a man in his 20s at Blanchardstown Garda Station after he was arrested at the scene.
