An Irish woman has died in Liberia
THE Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance after an Irish woman died in Liberia.
The woman holds dual-citizenship and is believed to also have an American passport.
American authorities are expected to take the lead role in providing consular assistance to her family.
Liberia yesterday confirmed the second death from Ebola as the deadly disease shows a resurgence in the country.
However the woman’s death is understood to be non-medical and Ebola has been ruled out in this case.
