AIB customers having problems accessing their accounts
Allied Irish Banks (AIB) customers are having difficulty accessing their accounts today.
It is understood that thousands of customers have had problems.
AIB confirmed in a statement that access problems were due to a technical issue.
It added that it was working to resolve the issue.
“We wish to advise that we are experiencing a technical issue that is impacting mobile banking services,” the bank said in a statement.
“Technical Support teams are investigating the issue and are working towards a resolution.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the impact that this may be having on you.”
It is understood that earlier internet and tablet banking issues have been resolved.
