The PSNI have confirmed that they caught a 15-year-old motorist doing 96mph on the M2.

Road traffic officers said the boy had been driving a car at high speed on the M2 yesterday.

Police have not confirmed how the boy was dealt with.

There have been 23 deaths on our roads to date this year.

Meanwhile, police on the North Coast confirmed that they caught a motorcyclist close to the route of the North West 200 driving at 103mph.
