Marcus Rashford and Daniel Sturridge make final cut as Hodgson names England squad
Manchester United youngster Rashford has forced his way into Hodgson's plans with a series of eye-catching displays through the second half of the season, while Daniel Sturridge is also included in the 23.
United striker Rashford has been named in the 23-man England squad that will travel to Euro 2016.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has also made the cut, having proved his fitness in training after missing England’s friendly against Australia with a minor injury.
It means that the England boss will travel to France with a squad heavy on attacking talent but lacking strength-in-depth in defence.
The three players that failed to make the cut for Hodgson’s squad are Fabian Delph, Andros Townsend and Danny Drinkwater.
This is the final squad picked by the England manager:
Drinkwater, who starred in Leicester City's title-winning campaign, might feel the most aggrieved of those not to make the squad:

Disappointed not to make the final 23! Would of been a fantastic experience to go to the euros as a player... https://t.co/js2WM4qpHW— Danny Drinkwater (@DannyDrinkwater) May 31, 2016
Rashford's record of scoring with his first shot in a competition bodes well for England:
