After a two-year, record-breaking run in the West End, The Commitments debuted at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on Thursday.

The show will run until the October 29.

Our pictures above show lead singer Deco (Brian Gilligan), Commitments founder Jimmy Rabbite (Andrew Linnie) along with Jimmy's Da and Coronation Street legend, Kevin Kennedy, with The Commitmentettes (sisters Amy and Leah Penston, along with Christina Tedders) posing at Pearse Street Dart Station in Dublin.

Thirty years since The Commitments first burst from the pages of Roddy Doyle's best-selling novel, the world's hardest-working soul band will be going on a seven-month tour around the UK following their Dublin shows.
