Vogue marks end of tough year at party with gal-pals

SUNDAY WORLD columnist Vogue Williams marked the end of a turbulent year with a night in with the girls.

Newly single Vogue gave the party scene a miss and rang in the new year at home instead.

But Vogue, who had an amicable split with ex-husband Brian McFadden in 2015, will get January off to a sizzling start in a new calendar shoot this week.

The model, blogger and TV presenter is giving her 2016 calendar away free in the Irish Daily Star this Tuesday.

And here is a sneak preview from the shoot.

Vogue is looking forward to the new year, but has said she intends to remain single. The festive season was more about family than romance, but she also squeezed in her share of parties between London and Dublin.

“I am so glad Christmas and New Year is over because I can’t handle any more socialising,” Vogue said.

“I had such a lovely break with my family and friends. After Christmas, I had a lovely family dinner with my dad’s side of the family in my aunt’s house.

“I decided to stay in for New Year’s, but ended up having the best night with my sister Amber, and friends Rhona, Jill, Lynn and her boyfriend Pete.

“I don’t really like New Year’s, it’s always too busy in town, so it was nice to stay in this time.”
