Yvette Fielding: Lady C's personal attacks weren't aired on I'm A Celebrity
Yvette Fielding "never ever wants to lay eyes" on Lady C again after being evicted from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
The Most Haunted star's time in the Australian jungle came to an end on Monday night (30Nov15) when she was voted off the ITV show.
During her time on the programme, 47-year-old Yvette had a complicated relationship with eccentric socialite and author Lady Colin Campbell, 66, with the tension culminating resulting in the redhead snapping at her elder counterpart.
However, in an interview on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning (01Dec15), Yvette said her anger came about after Lady C launched a vicious personal attack on herself, Duncan Bannatyne, Tony Hadley and Brian Friedman.
"She’s an odd woman, very strange, and I don’t know – she’s definitely not my cup of tea," Yvette said in the video interview from Australia. "I think I lost my temper with her eventually because what you didn’t see on camera is the personal comments she was making towards myself, Duncan, Tony and Brian.
"We were listening and listening and we took it and took it and then I just snapped. You don’t see that on camera, you just see me snapping but there was a reason for it. I think fine, if you’re in the jungle and it’s something to do with tasks or something about the jungle or living together… but when somebody actually is incredibly rude about your personal life then it’s time to be quiet really."
When Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan pushed Yvette to reveal details of these personal attacks, the presenter remained tight lipped.
But she did add that she has no inclination to ever see Lady C again now that she's out of the programme.
"They were very personal and hurtful comments to all involved and I just think she needs to be very careful. I certainly don’t want to bump into her again," she fumed. "I think she’s not a nice person and I don’t wish to be around someone like that. I think she’s quite a dangerous person because she doesn’t hold back on her opinions. There’s no need for rudeness at all and lots of not very nice language as well. I prefer not to have her anywhere near me.
"I never ever want to lay eyes on that woman ever again."
