It will be just two weeks until the The Late Late Toy Show returns to fill you with ideas for presents for the kids this Christmas.

This year's teaser sees Toy Show host Ryan Tubridy unleash his inner Sinatra as he hopes to impress a panel of mini-judges with a special lip-sync version of the modern festive classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You".

The Late Late Toy Show airs on Friday, December 2 with plans afoot for one of the most ambitious openings the programme has ever seen.

The theme of this year's show remains top secret, however, producers revealed last month that the opening number is so big they have drafted in help from students at IADT Dun Laoghaire to make their vision a reality.

Fans will also get an insight into how the programme is put together in a three part documentary series - The Late Late Toy Show Unwrapped - starting on Wednesday, November 30 on RTÉ One.

The application process to be in the audience for this year's show is now closed but viewers could still win two tickets with the #ToyShowSnap competition. The show is asking viewers to share their creative pictures featuring the 'RyanElf' on social media using #ToyShowSnap. One lucky winner will be selected from the entries.
