Stephanie Davis suffers stress-induced miscarriage
Stephanie Davis has reportedly suffered a stress-induced miscarriage following weeks of legal fights with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
The former Hollyoaks star, who shares eight-month-old son Caben-Albi with Jeremy, had accused the male model of domestic assault after a series of violent rows, including one which caused her to fear for her life. Jeremy was found guilty in Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday (07Aug17) and is currently awaiting sentencing.
But the stress of the legal battle has taken its toll on Stephanie, who revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday night that she had lost her and Jeremy's second child.
"Too loose (sic) a child is something I hope no one EVER goes through," Stephanie began. "The grief and pain is UNBELIEVABLE . Words CANNOT describe. My heart is BROKEN. I lost my baby due to the stress Jeremy put me under, history repeating its self after carrying caben alone for 9 months while he goes out with women and partying and posting pictures on purpose when I was in hospital and nearly lost caben on several occasions."
Labelling Jeremy "evil" and accusing him of setting up paparazzi situations to photograph him on dates with other women, Stephanie then stated: "He ruined my life and killed our child!and for that I can never forgive him!!"
Jeremy's standing as a father to Caben has long been an issue between the couple, with the former Celebrity Big Brother star initially unwilling to accept the paternity until an official test was conducted. At that point, Jeremy said he was determined to be there for his son, and checked himself into rehab to seek help for his drug and alcohol addictions. However, he relapsed shortly after leaving the facility and his relationship with Stephanie took a turn for the worse at that point.
Stephanie is now hoping to use her story to motivate other victims of domestic violence to seek help, and concluded: "I would like to Grieve for my child, find strength and move on... I don't know HOW I'm standing, but I am. And what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! It may seem mad what's in the press and a lot not 100 per cent true about me, to deal with it in real life and in the public eye has been soul destroying, but thankfully I'm here to tell the tale. Mummy Loves u little one GBNF (gone but not forgotten)."
