Stephanie Davis moves on from Jeremy McConnell romance

Stephanie Davis is thoroughly enjoying being single again.

The former Hollyoaks actress split from model Jeremy McConnell last week (ends25Mar16) after a tumultuous relationship.

But on Monday night (28Mar16), Stephanie decided to throw herself back into the dating world by heading out on a blind date with a mystery man.

On her Snapchat, Stephanie was seen pouting for the camera while sitting in a car with loud music playing, along with the words: "Out out. Blind date so not keen but f**k it ha."

Stephanie has been hitting headlines since leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house in January (16) after striking up a romance with Jeremy, despite dating male model Sam Reece at the time.

After leaving the house, Stephanie and Jeremy decided to give their relationship a real go.

However, it was a case of declaring their love for one another one second and being at each other's throats the next as the pair's romance was put through its paces.

Allegations of Jeremy's cheating led to their first split but Stephanie decided to give her beau another chance and it wasn't long before they were discussing their intentions to get matching tattoos to declare their love for one another.

"It wasn't easy but when you love someone as much as I love Jeremy, you can work through things like this," Stephanie said after explaining her reasons behind getting back together with Jeremy.

"I love Jeremy with all my heart, that's not changed...if it was any other guy I don't think I could forgive him for getting with other girls, but I know the love we have for each other is worth fighting for.

"I've been through a few very turbulent relationships with men, which means I find it hard to trust people. And Jeremy lost his mum, brother and sister within 15 months of each other when he was just a teenager, so he has a real fear of people leaving him. Together it can be a toxic combination."

More infidelity claims caused Stephanie and Jeremy to once again call time on their relationship, but not before exchanging a heated war of words on Twitter.

After Stephanie accused Jeremy of cheating on her with five women, Jeremy told Mirror Online: "We broke up last week down to other issues which I won't go into. I just feel I had to set the record straight. It's the last time I'll be speaking about the relationship."
