Since Big Brother left Channel 4, many Irish viewers lost their reality fix but now the show is coming back, thanks to TV3.

According to Independent.ie the station have just purchased the Irish rights to the show, and they will be showing both the regular show and the Celebrity version.

The show remains very popular in the UK but since it left Channel 4 for Channel 5, a channel not available to many Irish viewers, Irish fans have been denied their Big Brother fix.

But those days appear to be over, as TV3 will show the regular show this summer and the upcoming Celebrity editions, and details of those involved in the Celebrity editions is already being reported.

With the most recent Celebrity show averaging over 3 million viewers in the UK, the most popular series since Channel 5 began broadcasting it in 2011, TV3 will be hoping to get a sizeable audience here too.
