Jenny Bradley for dramatic Coronation Street comeback

Sally Ann Matthews is set to return to 'Coronation Street'.

The 45-year-old actress will reprise her role as Jenny Bradley in the ITV soap as her alter-ego makes a shock return to the Cobbles later this month following her arrest for snatching Kevin Webster's young son Jack last year.

Speaking to Unreality TV, Sally said of her return: "It's lovely to be back, it feels like I've had a week off and come back. It's great and I'm really looking forward to watching."

The nasty baby snatcher manages to worm her way back into Weatherfield after she reaches out to her former foster carer Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) via email and persuades her to forgive her for her wrong doings over the years.

A distressed Rita tracks down Jenny, who was sectioned under the mental health act following her abduction plot, in order to find out the truth about her foster daughter.

After discovering Jenny is residing at a grotty bedsit, Rita decides to bring her troubled foster daughter back to the Cobbles to continue her road to better mental health.

But, undoubtedly, Jenny's return rakes up bitter memories for Kevin (Michael Le Vell) after he was left frantic when little Jack was swiped under his nose by his unhinged lover.

However, over time, Kevin seemingly warms to Jenny and, despite being in a relationship with Anna Windass (Debbie Rush), it seems his feelings for his ex-lover haven't completely disappeared and they begin to resurface.
