James 'Arg' Argent confirms he'll be looking for love on Celebs Go Dating
James 'Arg' Argent is "super excited" about potentially finding love on the next series of Celebs Go Dating.
The former star of The Only Way Is Essex will be joining matchmakers on the E4 programme in the hope of finding a genuine connection with someone.
While the news has been rumoured for several weeks, Arg finally confirmed the reports by taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday (11Jul17) and sharing a snap of himself alongside the Celebs Go Dating banner.
"SIGNED, SEALED & I WILL DELIVER! #ifoundmypen," he wrote alongside the picture. "Super excited for my comeback to the small screen & taking part in the brilliant @celebsgodating on E4. I'm a huge fan of the show after watching 2 of my closest mates Joey & Ferne previously take part!"
Joey Essex appeared in the first and second seasons of the show, while Ferne tried her luck on season two. However, Arg also used his Instagram announcement to poke fun at his former failed romances, joking: "Hopefully I don't get rejected too many times lol."
The newly-slimline reality star added, "Anyone up for a date!? Haha x" - a message which unsurprisingly attracted offers from hundreds of fans.
One fan wrote: "I would take you out for def #hotness", while another added, "I'm sure there's loads of ladies that would be up for the challenge (wink) @real_arg."
Arg, who has famously been in an on-off relationship with former TOWIE co-star Lydia Bright for several years, will be joined by Calum Best on the new series.
The famous ladies' man also confirmed his involvement on his social media, writing: "Proud to announce I will be on the new season 3 @CelebsGoDating ! Here’s @frankiecocozza_ I today filming the crack of dawn !”
And TOWIE star Bobby Norris shared a picture of himself with Arg, Calum and former The X Factor contestant Frankie, writing: "Coming soon... @CelebsGoDating."
Courtney Stodden and TV presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford are among the women rumoured to be taking part in the new season of the programme.
