Jack P. Shepherd 'worried about wee pic'
Coronation Street's Jack P. Shepherd could be in trouble over a cheeky photograph he posted to Twitter.
The 27-year-old actor shared an image on the social media site on Wednesday night which appeared to show him urinating on rival ITV soap Emmerdale's village sign. Though the star quickly deleted the image minutes later, it still managed to make its way around the Internet and could land the star in hot water with show bosses.
The picture was captured at the end of the ITV soaps' summer party, which alternates between Emmerdale's home in the Yorkshire Dales and the Corrie cobbles of Weatherfield in Manchester.
"Jack had a few drinks like the rest of the Corrie cast, but as the night went on he got a bit boisterous," an insider told British newspaper The Sun. "He thought it would be funny to pose for this snap and posted it online, but took it down within seconds. Jack knew this could get him in trouble. There’s a big rivalry between the soaps but the ITV bosses don’t want any headaches over rows. Jack’s been in trouble before as well and they’ve all been warned about how they use social media."
While Jack waits to see if he gets reprimanded by show bosses, his co-star Sally Dynevor has opened up about what lies in store for her character Sally Webster. Her alter ego is about to become engaged to window cleaner Tim, and Sally believes it means there's definitely no chance of her reuniting with former spouse Kevin, played by Michael Le Vell.
"Of course part of me did want Sally and Kevin to get back together, because I enjoy working with Michael Le Vell so much," she told The Sun. "But once they’d introduced Tim, I suddenly thought there was a different dimension to Sally. And if they had put Sally and Kevin back together, what would we have done? I don’t really know where we could have gone with it.”
