Holly Willoughby's mother helped her return to work
Holly Willoughby was only able to return to work full time because her mother helps with her children.
The 35-year-old presenter is mother to six-year-old Harry, four-year-old Belle and 19-month-old Chester with husband Dan Baldwin. Chester was welcomed into the world in September 2014 and Holly returned to screens hosting This Morning with Phillip Schofield a year later, in September 2015.
It's only been the fact that her mother Lynne has stepped in to help wrangle her brood that has allowed her to continue will a full time position.
"Since I’ve come back to work I’ve been busy with This Morning and other stuff so she’s come up to help with the kids," Holly told the Daily Mirror.
It's not only babysitting that Lynne is on hand for, however. She is also a culinary whiz, meaning that Holly has some delicious meals to look forward to when she gets home.
"I’ve come home and there has been a shepherd’s pie or chilli con carne," she smiled. "To actually come home and there’s food on the table, the table’s laid, it just feels like I’m going home to my mum’s house. So that’s been really nice.
"It’s those simple little things, that little bit of help, that is just so appreciated and wonderful."
As well as This Morning, Holly has commitments as team captain on Celebrity Juice and presenter of Surprise Surprise and game show Play to the Whistle, returning to screens this month (Apr16).
Holly has been doing the promotional rounds ahead of This Morning's live wedding, due to take place on 20 April (16). She also spoke to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Thursday (14Apr16) and revealed people often think she and Phillip are a couple when they're seen on holiday.
"I do think that when we would bump into people, we went to Portugal, and when people would see us in a bar, they'd all be looking at us as if to go, 'Oh my God are you like actually together in real life?' I'd be like, 'No It's just a coincidence that we're away!'" Holly laughed.
"He has been holidaying in Portugal for years and I've been going the last few years so we tend to accidentally bump in to each other... not that accidentally."
