Holly Willoughby: 'Nothing compares to giving birth'
Holly Willoughby"never felt more alive" than she did after giving birth.
The 35-year-old This Morning host has three children with husband Dan Baldwin - seven-year-old Harry, five-year-old Belle and 20-month-old Chester.
While Holly isn't going to rush into having another baby, it's certainly something she hasn't ruled out.
"I love giving birth weirdly - although actually I shouldn’t say that is weird," she told The Sun newspaper. "I don’t want that area of my life to be over because it makes me sad to think I’d not be doing it again.
"I love being pregnant and I love having babies. I have never felt more alive than after I had given birth, and I don’t know what else compares to that."
Holly added that while all her labours were painful, it was a "different" kind of pain that she actually found enjoyable.
"You only hear one side of the story and that’s not very helpful, and lots of women really enjoy it," she said. "Don’t get me wrong, there is pain, but it is pain in a different way."
The blonde beauty is now so well versed in child rearing that she decided to write a book about her experiences, called Truly Happy Baby: It Worked For Me. The tome collates her own tips on being a parent, and Holly wishes something similar existed when she became a first time mother.
"When I had my first, Harry, I couldn’t believe there were so many things I wasn’t expecting," she said. "I kept thinking, ‘Why has no one told me about this? Why is this a massive secret?’
"I thought then that one day I’d write a book called It Worked For Me and put down all those things I’ve stumbled across or realised.
"By the time I had my third child I felt like I had a really good spectrum of different children and different - experiences and it felt like it was time to write it all down."
