Woman suffers seasickness for three years

A woman is still seasick, three years after going on a cruise.

Diane Morley went on an eight-day trip to Norway in 2012 to celebrate her 62nd birthday with her husband Dennis, but the pair were caught in a bad storm and she has never recovered.

After returning from the voyage, she continued to feel ill and suffer poor balance, and was eventually diagnosed with Mal de Debarquement syndrome, which is currently incurable.

She said: "My husband couldn't understand why I was struggling to begin with. I would say I felt sick and he just thought I was making an excuse for not doing something. But once I was finally diagnosed he started to understand the condition and he's really supportive now."
