Woman stopped at airport with €200,000 of coke hidden in her breasts
A female passenger at Frankfurt Airport was found to have €200,000 of cocaine hidden inside her breasts by customs officials.
Staff at the airport on February 24 became suspicious when they noticed the passenger had what looked like fresh operation scars on her breasts during a search.
The 24-year-old Colombian national complained of severe pain and quickly admitted to having drugs hidden inside her body.
She was sent to a local hospital where doctors removed two 500kg lumps of cocaine wrapped in plastic from inside her breasts.
The discovery was the first of its kind in Germany and officials say they were shocked by the surgery performed on the woman, which they described as 'amateurish'.
The drug mule now faces trafficking charges and a spell behind bars.
