A trainee police officer has beaten off 1,000 other hopefuls to win Curvy Kate's annual 'Star in a Bra' competition.

Sophia Adams, who is training with Met police in the UK, has just become the new face of 'plus-bust' lingerie brand Curvy Kate.

The 21-year-old won their annual competition and earned a modelling contract with plus-size agency, Bridge Models.

Adams, who has a 32JJ bust, she was in 'total disbelief' after receiving the news she had won the competition.

In an interview with Curvy Kate following the win, Adams said: "I was in total disbelief when I first found out I’d won. I couldn’t actually say anything else apart from ‘shut up’ and ‘no way’ for the first five minutes of knowing."
The Londoner is set to join up with the plus-size model company and will appear in their 2016 Spring/Summer Mediterranean shoot.
She said she wants to send out a positive message, and to encourage other plus-size women to appreciate their bodies.
"The main thing I want to do is send out a positive message to all women that every shape and size is beautiful, we all have bits we like and bits we don’t like about our bodies but embrace every inch of it!"
