X Factor contestant Joe Waller has walked away from a chance to enjoy a long run in the competition after he sensationally quit the ITV show.
The 23-year-old primary school teacher got four yeses from judges and an invite to the next round, but he has already confirmed that he will not be continuing his auditions for Simon Cowell and the rest of the judging panel.
"So mid week I received a completely random email from the X Factor Team," wrote budding pop star Waller on his social media site.
"Although I made the choice to not continue in the programme because I felt it was the best thing for my career at the time, they have decided to air my audition.
"SO I PROMISE I DIDN'T LIE ABOUT ANYTHING... But they have chosen to air my audition even though I chose to leave."
Waller can only benefit from the publicity of appearing on X Factor, but the millions of viewers who watched him perform will not be getting to see any more of this on the show:
