The latest controversial Late Late Show appearance from the outspoken Katie Hopkins served up a predictable mix of contentious comments, as she returned to the RTE show to toast the US Presidential election win for Donald Trump.

Hopkins has been a vocal supporter of Trump throughout his controversial campaign against Hillary Clinton, with Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy doing his best to challenge the controversy seeking pundit.

RTE received hundreds of complaints following their decision to book Hopkins for the show, with Tubridy admitting he was not happy to welcome back the English loud mouth.

Yet she lived up to her billing with another display of arrogant attention seeking, with these comments especially unpleasant.

“We have seen Clinton supporters rioting for two nights because they didn’t like the result, but they need to get over it," argued Hopkins, who was also challenged by Irish Independent journalist Colette Browne on the show.

Journalist Browne offered up a more balanced view of Trump election win, as she suggested the world was in for a ‘dangerous time’ following the surprise win for the Republican candidate.

Meanwhile, Tubridy offered the Late Late Show audience a chance to offer their views on a possible state visit of President Trump to Ireland and it produced an interesting response.
