Teens lost in cave after 'Pokémon Go' game gets out of hand

Four teenagers were lost in a cave after playing Pokemon Go.

A group of youngsters realised their mistake when they lost their way after venturing into the dark space, which left them fearing they may not be able to find their way out.

The embarrassed youths had to be rescued by Trowbridge fire brigade who shared images of the rescue on their twitter page, alongside a tweet which read: "TURNOUT: 3 Pumps, 2 Rope Rescue units respond to Box to assist 4 people lost in the mines (sic)."

The Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service then retweeted the pictures and advised all gamers to not travel through unknown territory without a guide.

They wrote: "Those rescued yesterday were looking for Pokémon please don't go into caves unless you have map and experienced guide. (sic)"

The teens were rescued and emerged uninjured.
