Teen boy caught as he planned kidnap and rape of girl (10)
A TEN-year-old girl has been rescued by police just minutes after a teenage boy kidnapped her in a twisted plot to rape and kill the youngster.
The 17-year-old was caught red-handed at a police road block minutes after the girl’s mum raised the alarm.
John Thomas Classen claimed he was “in love” with his pal’s younger sister, and planned to abduct her then smother and “rape her dead body”.
But cops foiled Classen’s sinister plan when they intercepted him in a roadblock half
“We were very, very fortunate to get on it right away,” O’Fallon Police Chief Roy Joachimstaler told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The deranged high school senior at Fort Zumwalt West was friendly with the girl’s brother and previously told his pal “he thought she was cute and that he loved her,” according to a Post-Dispatch reporter who interviewed the brother.
“I took it in the best possible way and thought he was just being friendly,” the brother, who has known the suspect for five years, told the newspaper.
Classen was able to break into the house after he left a window unlocked and popped out the screen with a screwdriver.
He lay in wait in the basement for nearly five hours before going to the first floor, where he found the girl sleeping on a couch.
He smothered her and told her not to scream, but the two tumbled down the stairs as he brought her to the basement, alerting the family dogs, which started barking, according to the Post-Dispatch.
The girl’s mother awoke and started screaming her daughter had been kidnapped after seeing Classen run off with the girl in the backyard.
The girl was saved by police just 30 minutes after her abduction and she was hospitalized with bruising and scratches.
The disturbed teenager planned to act on his sick fantasies which he had written on a list found on his mobile phone.
“Take her to a secondary location, explain everything to her, smother her, rape her dead body, clean up and then pose the body … photograph her, dispose of her body, leave town,” he wrote .
