Sniffing this will give most women an ‘earth shattering’ orgasm
A mushroom has been documented which, when sniffed, gives almost 50 per cent of women an orgasm.
The power of the Dictyophora mushroom was first documented in the The International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms in 2001.
John Halliday and Noah Soule were the first to record the effects of a fungus which could instantly induce female orgasm and documented it in a paper titled Female Orgasms Triggered by the Smell of a Newly Found Tropical Dictyophora Desv. Species
These finding have since resurfaced in an article in IFL Science where details of the discovery are noted.
The Dictophora is a bright orange mushroom can be found growing in recent lava flows on the Hawaiian island.
In the paper the boffins wrote:
"There are significant sexual arousal characteristics present in the foetid odour of this unique mushroom."
According to reports the trial involved 16 women, six of which had orgasms while the other ten, who received smaller doses, experienced physiological changes such as increased heart rate. All of the 20 men tested considered the smell disgusting
The authors results suggest that the hormone-like compounds present in the volatile portion of the gleba may have some similarity to human neurotransmitters released in females during sexual activity.
