Pop-up restaurant serves critters

A pop-up restaurant is selling insect dishes.

Pestaurant, which passed through the University of Surrey in Guildford, south east England, is serving critters including maggots, buffalo worms and crickets, the Surrey Advertiser newspaper reports.

Pestaurant's Kate Kinnes said: "Bugs take less water to farm, and less space and they do not give off methane. There is a real strong reason to look at them as a food source...

"People like the opportunity to try it. They say there is no way they will try it, but most give it a go."
