Pokemon GO players warned against walking on landmines
A warning has been issued to Pokémon GO players in Bosnia to prevent gamers from walking into a landmine.
Explosives were planted during the Bosnian war between 1992 and 1995 and it has been feared a number of the landmine bombs, which have not been set off since being planted, could pose a danger to wandering gamers.
Authorities in the country have raised concern players of the new craze, which involves real life surroundings in order to play.
A charity posted on Facebook: "Today we received information that some users of the Pokémon Go app in Bosnia were going to places which are a risk for (unexploded) mines, in search of a Pokémon .
"Citizens are urged no to do so, to respect demarcation signs of dangerous mine fields and not to go into unknown areas.(sic).
