Pilots suspended for scrapping in cockpit
Two pilots have been suspended for six months for fighting in the cockpit.
Low-cost airline China United Airlines said the pilots only had “some physical contact” after some “misunderstandings”.
The airline, which has been disciplined for a number of other safety violations, went on to deny claims that one of the fighting pilots ended up covered in blood with a head injury.
The jet fight happened in June, but didn’t come out until this week when details were mentioned in the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) report on China United Airline’s punishment.
The airline’s flying hours by were cut by 10 per cent and it was banned from adding new routes
