Paramedics receive emergency calls to stop flatulence

Paramedics are inundated with pleas to prevent flatulence by windy patients.

A healthcare professional working for the West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) has made the revelation after a 999 caller rang to complain he couldn't stop farting, whilst another patient needed help to stop hiccuping, according to the Mirror Online.

Among other bizarre calls received by the emergency services include someone who complained of a sore toenail, whilst another caller required assistance locating his television remote control when it was misplaced.
