A 100-year-old woman has credited her good health to drinking alcohol.

Pauline Spagnola, from Pennsylvania, cited drinking as the key to her wellbeing and has advised people to follow suit.

Asked what advice she'd offer to stay healthy for longer, Pauline told WNEP: "Drink a lot of booze."

This comes after a 101-year-old woman in Staten Island claimed drinking two glasses of wine, a Southern Comfort and a beer each day was the key to her longevity.
