OAPs flung out of charity event for doing cocaine in the bathroom
Two men aged in their late 60s were booted out of a charity event after they were allegedly caught sniffing cocaine in the bathroom.
The incident occurred at a Help For Heroes event at the Cambusnethan Miners Welfare Club in Scotland.
The men were caught together in the club's bathroom and the pair claimed they were taking insulin, but were promptly ejected by unconvinced staff.
Help for Heroes is a charity for British servicemen and women who have been wounded or injured in the line of duty.
A source told the Wishaw Press: "Two men in their 60s were asked to leave the premises after they were said to have been found snorting cocaine in the gents toilet.
"This must be one for the Guinness Book of Records!"
Police have been informed and are investigating.
