Republic of Ireland management team Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane may be facing the most important game of their short tenure so far against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow – but they still found time to drop in for a visit to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

Showing they know where priorities really lie, the pair joked and chatted with young fans at the hospital, and signed plenty of autographs for the patients too.

The management duo made the visit in conjunction with the SportsWorld FAI Summer Soccer Schools, who have chosen Temple Street as their charity of the year.

O’Neill said: "We thoroughly enjoy meeting the patients. We are always taken aback by the hard work and positivity of the staff - the work they do each day is fantastic."

Fair play, lads.
