New invention lets you check sperm count by ejaculating on smartphone
Thanks to your smartphone you can keep tabs on your emails, social media feeds, GPS location and now you can even check your sperm count.
Japan’s Dr Yoshitomo Kobori has come up with a way to monitor a man’s swimmers by creating a type of lens that can be fitted to phone’s camera.
So all you need to do is ‘deposit’ a sample onto the lens at the back of the camera while filming it to create footage that can be analysed in a lab.
The invention was created for men who are too anxious to visit the clinic.
The inexpensive lens means you can check your sperm count in the comfort of your own home.
“The lens is not made for a smartphone - it was made nine years ago," said Dr Kobori.
"I’m improving the lens and thinking about how to attach it to a smartphone and analyze sperm.
"Men are thinking that semen analyses are an embarrassment, inconvenience, disgrace and waste of time."
