Mums and dad: I used to be cool too
Raving in Ibiza, attending Live Aid and taking part in a political protest are top of the list of lies that parents tell their kids.
A study commissioned by the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge - which boasts up to 128 GB of memory - quizzed 2,000 British mums and dads and found most parents who grew up in the 80s were spinning tales to appear more cool, even saying they were part of the Punk, New Romantics or Mod scenes.
Conor Pierce, Vice President of IT & Mobile at Samsung UK and Ireland said: "People who spent their formative years in the 80's and 90's will be the last generation who will be able to embellish stories about their youth. Today our every move is captured and often documented by social media."
