Mother leaves superb note for teen kids before heading off on holidays
A Scottish mother's note of advice to her two teenage kids before she and the rest of the family headed off on holiday has gone viral.
The note, which stretched to four pages, was published on Twitter by one of teenage targets of the letter, Robbie Ewart.
The mum, from Lanarkshire, began her note with the sensational line '"I love u both very much but lets face it you's are arseholes."
She then goes on to advise each of the teens in turn on the sort of behaviour she expects from them in brilliant fashion.
'Katie' is told that she doesn't want to get another visit from the police so if she goes out, make sure to come back so her granny doesn't worry about her.
She also advises her to look after Robbie.
Robbie's letter is much more detailed and he is advised that 'our log cabin is not a 24-hour drug den'.
He is also warned not to 'drink the place dry' and not to spend the money she left for them on 'drugs, vodka and hookers'.
The final page advises that if they run out of food to contact their granny but if anything more serious happens to contact their grandfather. They are also told not to contact any other family members as 'no-one else in the family nearby likes you'.
The note was posted on Twitter by Robbie and has so far gained almost 7,000 retweets and over 13,000 likes.
