A man with no penis somehow managed to keep the fact secret from his girlfriend for a year.

Andrew Wardle met his girlfriend Fedra Fabian, who hails from Budapest, while he was working at a summer camp in England. They struck up a relationship and carried it on via Skype when she returned home to Hungary.

Eventually, as their relationship blossomed, she made the decision to go to the UK and live with him.

But Manchester man Wardle had never plucked up the courage to tell her about his issue. Whenever the subject of lovemaking came up he insisted he had kidney infections.

She explained: “I didn’t feel betrayed… I’m his girlfriend but it’s his personal business.”

Andrew was born with the condition bladder exstrophy, which means his bladder is outside his body. It also means you are born without any genitalia.

He is due to undergo surgery in an attempt to give him a new penis and the ability to be intimate with his partner.

His experiences are due to be aired in an upcoming TV documentary.
