Man tries to go on the run(s) after stealing diarrhoea tablets
A man tried to pinch more than a loaf from a shop in Manchester city centre when he stole £20 worth of diarrhoea tablets, before trying to evacuate the premises.
The 26-year-old went on the run after pilfering the packets of tables from a shop on Market Street in the city at midday on Wednesday.
Staff got wind of the theft - realising the man hadn’t spent a penny – and after flushing him out a security guard wrestled the potty… we mean, petty thief to the ground and called the police.
The cops later tweeted: “Shoplifter runs from city store yesterday with £20 diarrhoea tablets but was caught. We’re following through with our enquiries.”
We’re sure if the thief had have had the foresight to have a getaway car it would have had a full tank of gas – and possibly would have left skid marks at the scene.
