Man streaks through women's protest after eight hours on stag party
A streaker dashed through a women's rights protest after drinking for eight hours on a stag do, a court has heard.
Peter Barker (45) stripped off near Nottingham's Old Market Square in the UK before running through around 100 women and children assembled at the Reclaim The Night protest.
The rally, which took place on October 24, aimed to raise awareness of violence against women.
CCTV showed Barker, of Cotswold Court, Beeston, undressing near the square and handing his clothes to a friend before running through the crowd with his arms aloft.
He was chased by a police officer and detained. He was sentenced to 80 hours' unpaid work, and ordered to pay a £180 criminal court charge, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
