A 19-year-old student conned his way into the Champions League final on Saturday, and he took loads of Snapchats to prove it.

Anraoi Rooney, from Stillorgan, was travelling around Europe with his friend James McClafferty and while in Berlin they decided to see if they could blag their way in to the Champions League final.

Armed with hastily put together 'accreditation' the two men set off for the stadium but it was Anraoi's hi-vis vest that really saved the day.

While he sailed through the very first level of security with a confident nod, James was stopped immediately.

While James headed back to the city, Anraoi just kept going. He told the Anton Savage Show how he got past the final stage, the scanning of his ticket.

“There was another set of stewards at the turnstiles and you needed to scan a barcode.

“I obviously couldn’t do that so I had to go through the media section with these old lads in suits.

“I followed in a big crowd with them and managed to sneak into the stadium.”

Here is the pass Anraoi used, via Snapchat and The Lad Bible.

And here is where he ended up...
