Football game abandoned after less than a minute
A football match was abandoned after 58 seconds because of heavy fog.
The game between St Austell and Bodmin was called off after less than a minute because the referee didn't think the conditions were fit for play.
A spectator at the match told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We only knew they had started because we heard the ref's whistle.
"Before kick-off the fog was so thick it was hard to see out of the clubhouse windows but ref said it the game definitely on.
"He tried everything to play the fixture."
Some 150 spectators were given refunds and the game will be played again next month.
